Also please note the following change in the by - laws - Where it stated that socials will be held on the first Monday of every month it has been amended to read that " Monthly socials will be held every month except in the months of July and August." Business meetings will still be held on the third Monday of each month at the Church of the Advent

The above change was made at the request of many members who found the Monday night events inconvenient. Some socials will still be held on Mondays but it is no longer a requirement. A calendar will be published for members with the socialdates for the next 12 months.

Important item for domestic partners:

The law does not guarantee the right to inherit a partner's assets after their death. The law only waves the inheritance tax. There must be a WILL for the partner to inherit. Check with your legal advisor for more information. Next months newsletter will have more details also.
