We had everything in place for a gala event at the Inn of Cape May but you may have noticed we got clobbered with the worst winter storms in memory. ( You remember you were told when you move to the shore it doesn’t snow because the salt air– NOT!) The Inn lost power for days and that damaged its heating system. No heat, no party. Also the streets were not plowed well enough to allow safe parking and the sidewalks in Cape May were not cleared so ice was a formidable obstacle. Maybe next year. Save your beads and feathers.
GABLES 15th BIRTHDAY PARTY- March 27th
Yes, the group that was supposed to fail has survived and flourished for 15 years–thanks to YOU, the loyal members. 15 years ago we often gathered for a dinner of pasta and sauce. Well to celebrate this 15th Birthday we are having a Pasta and Cake Birthday party and you, the loyal members and advertisers, are invited to celebrate. The snow should be a memory. The place is the Property Owners Association Building in North Cape May and the time is 6PM for Cocktails (BYOB) and Dinner at 7PM.
